BUSH WALKS
WHAT TO EXPECT
We pick up the guests from their Hotels early morning and transfer them to a Big 5 Private Game Reserve. Here they are accompanied by armed and experienced game rangers that have the necessary qualifications in Bush walks, Dangerous Game and Advanced Weapon Handling.
As the day breaks, guests have coffee and rusks and are briefed about the basic rules and dangers involved.
The Rangers will introduce a number of skills to the guests including tracking, animal behavior, identification, plants and trees.
A maximum of 8 guests is allowed on a Bushwalk*, as a smaller group is easier to control and manage. It consists of a 2-hour walk in a Big 5 area and the emphasis is also on the smaller things that one usually misses when on an Open Safari Vehicle!
* Larger groups can also be accommodated by splitting them in to smaller groups of 8.
